Educational Background
Following the completion of residency program at prestigious Ivy League, Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, NY. Dr. Chennupati worked for more than 10 years in the dental industry. He has successfully completed thousands of root canal procedures to preserve patients’ teeth. He also has a special knack for putting kids at ease. So, younger patients don’t fear the dentist. They get off to a healthy start!
Field Experience
Dr. Chennupati blends his passion for health, educating and “coaching” others, and his commitment to community in a number of other ways. Formerly, he trained new doctors as a state dental director. He also started HITT2FIT (for a healthy tomorrow). The free bootcamp program helps many people get into the best shape of their lives. We encourage you to join us!
A talented athlete, Dr. Chennupati competes in United States Tennis Association (USTA) tournaments, and even qualified for the national championships in Texas and Arizona in 2018 and 2021, respectively. His wife, Smitha, also works in healthcare as a physical therapist serving the senior community.
Dr. Chennupati’s patients will tell you that he is a gentle, compassionate, and empathetic dentist. He lives the notion that a healthy community is a happy community. His efforts have been recognized by leading industry associations; the International Association of Dentists named Dr. Chennupati as a “Leading Physician of the World” and “Top General Dentist in Richmond, Virginia” for 2014.
When not staying in shape and helping others to do the same, he loves spending time with his wife and children, Aryan and Arjun.
